Petroleum Limited, a
registered Indian company and a 50:50 joint venture between Jubilant
Enpro Pvt. Ltd.. and Geopetrol Mauritus Ltd, is the operating company
for the Kharsang Oil Field, Arunachal Pradesh, India.
GeoEnpro
became
a Consortium partner & operator of the Kharsang Production Sharing
Contract (PSC), the first ever medium sized onshore oilfield awarded
by the Indian government for private participation in the year 1995.
Subsequent to its takeover, oil production has registered a major
increase due to major workover and drilling of wells. Through its
involvement in the Kharsang PSC, GeoEnpro has more than a decade
of operating experience in the development and production of medium
sized oilfields.
